Healthy Alternative to Chips
Let’s do an “Eat this, Not That”
So we all love chips, right? We did eat this not that for tortilla chips, maybe a couple of weeks ago, and we told you guys about falafel chips. Chips are a bit of a weakness for some people. They love the salty, they love that fat, they love that crunch. There are a couple of different things that you can try aside from your greasy chips. One of them is nuts! Here is our big container of nuts. We are running out of them, but these are almonds. I prefer that you do raw almonds, but if you would like you can buy a bag of raw almonds and a bag of lightly salted almonds and then mix them together so that you are not eating a ton of salt but you are still getting a little bit of that salty flavor. Raw almonds are the best, but they do take a little bit to get used to. That is a good option for some crunch and fat.
Then, this is another one that we found, the brand Annie’s Homegrown Organic Butter and Sea Salt Popcorn. We have not tried this one yet, but we do like to eat popcorn. I don't know why we haven’t opened it. It has been here a week and we haven’t touched it! There are couple of other popcorns that we like too, but be careful with the popcorn because they do make sugary popcorns, very processed popcorn. If you get the ones that are just simply salt and popcorn that is going to be the best. This one actually has a butter in it too, which normally we don't get, but this is a new type that we are going to try out. We do like … well, I’m not sure the name of it. Maybe, Smart Pop, or Easy Living, or Healthy Living, or something! I think it is the Healthy Living Magazine Popcorn. Their brand of popcorn. Then, Skinny Pop is also a good one because it is just basically your popcorn, a little bit of salt, and maybe some oil, which is needed to pop the popcorn. Great options if you are a big chip lover.
