Q- Where are sunglasses from Eye Love made?

A- Eye Love is a small family business based in South Carolina in the United States. We have looked around the U.S. for a great sunglasses manufacturer, but no one could make a high quality, premium pair of sunglasses at a great price. All of our sunglasses are made in the city of Wenzhou, which is located at the extreme southeast end of the Zhejiang Province in China. This is an area of China that is known for its sunglasses, especially Ray Ban. Be on the lookout for a Made in America line in the future!

 

Q- I have insanely sensitive eyes. Do you think these are darker than most you see in stores?

A- Great question! If you want the darkest lens available, check out the Eye Love's Wanderer. These boast Polarized Gray 3 lenses, which are the darkest that you can get. You will love them! If you desire something lighter, our Eye Love Metal Sunglasses or our Eye Love Women's shades are a wonderful, polarized option (check out the photo below and see me attempting to model our brown women's pair!)

 

Q- Are these sunglasses one-size-fits-all?

A- Unfortunately, sunglasses are never really one-size-fits-all. Every face and every person are unique, and therefore, every pair of sunglasses will fit each person differently. However, they can often be adjusted to fit better. If you are unsatisfied with the fit of your sunglasses, we recommend taking them to your local optometry office to have an optician adjust them for you.

 

Q- How do you adjust the nose pads?

A- On our metal and plastic sports sunglasses, there is a small screw that holds the nose piece onto the frame. Do not unscrew this (unless you want to remove the entire piece), but rather gently bend the nose pad feet in and out, depending on if you want them closer or further apart. I ALWAYS recommend leaving this to the professionals in order to avoid breakage. You can take them into an optometry office, and they would be happy to adjust them to your liking!

 

Q- What does the warranty cover?

A- At Eye Love, we stand by the quality of our product. The warranty for manufacturer's defects is for a lifetime, but this does not include accidental breakage or scratches. Don't forget to register your warranty after purchase so that you can enjoy this benefit! There is also a satisfaction guarantee with every pair. If your new sunglasses don't delight you, return them for a full refund, no questions asked!

 

Q- I don't see anything offered for children. I am very small and want polarized sunglasses that fit. Would you have anything at might work?

A- I would recommend trying our smallest pair of sunglasses that we have. We also just released them and are offering them at $10 on Amazon in exchange for an honest review. We do not have any children's sunglasses at the moment. If they need to be tightened or adjusted, you can bring them by your optometrist, local Walmart Vision Center, Lenscrafters, etc. and they will be able to adjust them to fit your face well. Q- Where is my package? 

A- We are sorry to hear that your package has not arrived yet, there must have been a problem at the warehouse or with the post office. Q- My Product Is Defective or Not Working.

A- You may write in saying that the product they received is not working or is defective. Depending on the level of access that you are granted from the seller, you can initiate the refunds and send out the replacements on the seller’s behalf.

Q- Lost Shipment.

A- We actually do not do the shipping for our products.  Amazon does all the shipping, so unfortunately we cannot help you out with this.

Q- I received a defective sunglasses. (Warranty)

A- We do apologize for the problems you are experiencing with the sunglasses. We know how important it is to have sunglasses that are not only comfortable but provide great vision as well. Our sunglasses are manufactured to withstand wear and tear, but we also realize that these things can happen.

Q- I received poor sunglass optics/lenses warped.

A- We do apologize for the problems that you are experiencing with the sunglasses.  We chose these sunglasses for the excellent optics that they provided.  Unfortunately, you must have received a defective pair.  Whenever lenses are heated up too much during the manufacturing process it can cause this "waving" to occur.  At Eye Love, we try to catch all these but sometimes miss a few as we comb through thousands per month.

Q- Nosepad/Screwdriver/other part missing.

A- We do apologize for the issue that you’re having with our product. We know how important it is for you to have all the pieces, so we will be  sending you a new {nosepad/screwdriver/etc} ASAP!

Q- Loose sunglass screws, crooked or uneven.

A- The easiest way to take care of this is to take the frame to a local optometrist, Walmart Vision Center, Pearl Vision, etc.and have them try to repair it for you. Screws are bound to come out eventually.  That is why we include a screwdriver kit to keep those screws nice and tight.  You can also put clear nail polish on the screws to keep them tighter, longer. If this doesn’t work, please let us know.

 

Q- My sunglasses don’t fit on me.

A- We are sorry to hear that the sunglasses don’t fit you properly.  Unfortunately, sunglasses are tough to make one-size-fits-all and we only have one size of those available at this time. We want you to be 100% satisfied, so we will grant you a full refund if you have not already sent the sunglasses back to Amazon for refund. Please send us your order number so that we can get that processed for you.

 

 

Q- My eyeglass Cleaner wearing down.

A- Our eyeglass cleaner should last about 500 cleanings.  Two things you can do if you feel your eyeglass cleaner is wearing down or not working correctly:

1. Wash your glasses with a mild dish soap and water.  Sometimes our glasses get a little too grimy and oily for the eyeglass cleaner, and may need some extra help.  This is a great cleaner for everyday use, but a "wet" clean will always be better.   Think of a dry shower versus a wet shower :)

2. Try rinsing, just the tongs, under a little water. Not much water, just to refresh them a little.  Allow them to dry for a day or two and then put it in and out of the case a few times to recharge the tongs.  

 

Q- My Eyeglass Cleaner is not working and I want a refund.

A- Don't worry about returning the item.  We will give you a full refund for the product! That is part of our 100% satisfaction guarantee. Please send us your order number and we will give you a refund within 24 hours. Keep us in mind for your future sunglass needs.

P.S. For really oily and dirty glasses a cloth and spray is always better.  This is a great product for portability and less mess.

 

Q- How wide is the frame on these? I have a wide face so I want to make sure they're not too narrow.

A- This frame is measured 54-18-150, which means that from one side of the frame to the other it is a little over 5 inches wide. You can also compare the above measurement numbers to another sunglass or eyeglass frame that fits you well. If the numbers are the same or smaller than 54-18, you'll be fine!

 

Q- I have insanely sensitive eyes. i need the darkest of dark lens. Do you think these are darker than most you see in stores? 

A- These are the darkest lenses that we have available. They are called Polarized Gray 3 lenses, which is the darkest that you can get. You will love them!

 

Q- Are the lens glass or plastic?

A- Plastic.

 

Q- How this would compare to the original Ray Bans? are this of good enough quality?

A- This pair is definitely lighter than original Ray Bans because they are made of plastic instead of acetate. However, all of our sunglasses are polarized whereas all Ray Bans are not. 

 

Q- Is it a fitover sunglass?

A- These are meant to be worn as stand alone sunglasses, but you are more than welcome to try then as fit over. They just aren't quite big enough.

 

Q- Can you ship outside USA?

A- Unfortunately, no.

 

Q- What kind of UV protection is there?

A- These sunglasses are 100% UVA and UVB protected. They are also polarized, which guarantees great glare reduction! Enjoy!

 

Q- I have problems getting sunglasses that look like they are too small for my face. Would these work for my face?

A- This pair of sunglasses is a larger size, so it does tend to fit larger faces. If for any reason you are unhappy with the fit, just let us know and we'll give you a full refund. They're definitely worth a try!

 

Q- Are the hinges spring loaded so that the arms can expand outwards when putting them on?

A- Some of the styles do not have spring hinges, but they are a lightweight and comfortable pair of polarized sunglasses! They're also backed by our 100% satisfaction guarantee, so if for any reason you are unhappy with them, just let us know!

 

Q- Do these come in different sizes?

A- At this time, they do not come in different sizes. We are releasing a few new styles later this summer, so be on the lookout for those! Eye Love sunglasses always come with a 100% satisfaction guarantee, so if they do not fit you perfectly just let us know.

 

Q- Sounds like these are quite dark, how can I find a version that has a lighter lens?

A- The shiny black and matte black wanderers both have dark gray lenses, but if you are looking for a lighter lens we suggest you try the brown wanderer. Brown lenses tend to lighten your surroundings and really make colors pop. They are still polarized and 100% UV protected!

 

Q- What's the head circumference limit on these?

A- The size of the sunglasses is 54-18, which means that they are 126 millimeters across (4.96 inches). I would say any circumference between 18 inches and 25 inches will work well.

 

Q- is the eye love glasses 54 mm?

A- The official size is 54-18-142, which means the lenses are 54 millimeters wide each and the bridge (nose) is 18 millimeters. 

 

Q- Does it have a Rubberized finish?

A- No it doesn't

 

Q- What is the glass tint color?

A- These are Gray 3 tinted, polarized, and provide 100% UV protection.

 

Q- Can someone explain the measurements? Maybe in inches?

A- The lens size is 54 mm, which is about 2.15 inches EACH and the bridge (nose) is 18 mm, which is about 0.7 inches. Therefore total across is 126 mm which is about 5 inches.

 

Q- Can these be prescribed

A- Thanks for the great question. We would not recommend having a prescription put into and of our sunglasses that are under $40.  The sunglasses over $40 are great for prescription.

 

Q- Is it possible to buy these with my prescriptive lens?

A- Eye Love does not currently offer a prescription option. You could take them to an optometrist to have prescription lenses put into the frames if you wanted to, but it would be up to their discretion. This frame is made of plastic and may be OK for prescription, but we will be releasing a newer, more premium version in the coming month that would hold up a bit better for prescription glasses.

 

Q- I would like to get some different color lenses from fuse or revant. the question here: are the lenses interchangeable with the real Ray Ban sunglasses?

A- No, these lenses are not interchangeable with the original Ray Ban Sunglasses. These sunglasses are slightly different in size, but will provide you with 100% UV protection and polarization.

 

Q- What is the width by the ears or back? Previous sports sunglasses were too tight (by design) for me.

A- Four and a quarter inch (4 1/4") 

 

Eye Mask for Dry Eyes by Eye Love

 

Q- My eyelids are extremely dry and cracking but don't believe it's blepharitis. Would this mask solve this problem?

 

A- The best advice you can get is from your eye doctor who can diagnose your problem and prescribe a treatment.

 

Q- Can this be heated in UV light oven?

A- This mask has not been tested in any other heater aside from a microwave, so we would advise you to use that method. The mask content pouch is easily removed from the outer silk covering and should be heated on high for 15-20 seconds.

 

Q- Does the mask just have flax seeds or other ingredients inside of it?

A- The mask is filled with flaxseeds and lavender. While it is mostly flaxseed, there is a hint of lavender!

 

Q- Is there a scent to flaxseed?

A- Flaxseed has a very mild nutty scent, but you should not notice it! Try and enjoy it :)

 

Q- Is the strap adjustable?

A- The straps are definitely adjustable. you just tie them around the back of your head to keep the mask in place.
