it will take some time for me to be able to handle the device as adeptly as Jenna does, but I'm in no hurry. Have had MGD, blepharitis, dry eye for many years. Three attempts with lipiflow were a failure, cost me a lot of money out of pocket. NuLids gives me more relief than any other treatment I have undergone.
At first I was skeptical on how this item would help my dry eye. It seems a little awkward at first. It is worth the money. Eventually, you will save money from not buying as many eye drops. You feel like you are brushing your eyelids. I got used to it pretty quickly. I’ve tried everything for dry eyes and I want to eventually stop taking Restasis. I would typically wake up in the middle of the night to put eye drops in my eye. After using the product for two weeks, I do not need to do that anymore. There was great improvement at my three week follow-up appointment. There was no longer bacteria on my eyelids. The oil was coming out a little better too from my eyelids. I’m hoping at my four month appointment it will show even greater improvements. I also use a heated mask for 10 min after doing the Nulids and I take hydro eye vitamins.
I'm sure it's a combination of things coming together. But in addition to MGD I was also doing with Blepharatis. This feels AWESOME using it, and my eyes feel great all day. I feel confident that I'm getting rid of any biofilm.. and the vibration mode I truly think is doing good things for my MGD. Again. I can't tell if it's one single thing that has made a difference or the overall eye car protocol.. hot compresses, heyedrate lid cleaner, this, Restasis, and the Doxy i'm on. BUT it is awesome using this in the morning and not really thinking about my eyes all day! I don't love the price of the replacement tips.. but I get it. Happy to have this part of my daily eye car routine.
Love it, NuLids is really awesome
It’s only been 2 weeks n haven’t had much change. I find the “pause time” is too short.
