At first I was skeptical on how this item would help my dry eye. It seems a little awkward at first. It is worth the money. Eventually, you will save money from not buying as many eye drops. You feel like you are brushing your eyelids. I got used to it pretty quickly. I’ve tried everything for dry eyes and I want to eventually stop taking Restasis. I would typically wake up in the middle of the night to put eye drops in my eye. After using the product for two weeks, I do not need to do that anymore. There was great improvement at my three week follow-up appointment. There was no longer bacteria on my eyelids. The oil was coming out a little better too from my eyelids. I’m hoping at my four month appointment it will show even greater improvements. I also use a heated mask for 10 min after doing the Nulids and I take hydro eye vitamins.
I'm sure it's a combination of things coming together. But in addition to MGD I was also doing with Blepharatis. This feels AWESOME using it, and my eyes feel great all day. I feel confident that I'm getting rid of any biofilm.. and the vibration mode I truly think is doing good things for my MGD. Again. I can't tell if it's one single thing that has made a difference or the overall eye car protocol.. hot compresses, heyedrate lid cleaner, this, Restasis, and the Doxy i'm on. BUT it is awesome using this in the morning and not really thinking about my eyes all day! I don't love the price of the replacement tips.. but I get it. Happy to have this part of my daily eye car routine.
Love it, NuLids is really awesome
It’s only been 2 weeks n haven’t had much change. I find the “pause time” is too short.
Nulids has saved me. For two years I have struggled with MGD/Blepharitis. Have been prescribed Tobrymicin (useless), Zithromycin (helpful until I stop), Doxycycline (til I stop), and Minocycline (better after stopping but still bad), Boric Acid eyewash (soothing), Posiformin ointment, Gentomycin drops. Nothing really helped except for Silver Sufadiazine which draws out debris really well but can cause corneal damage. Still my eyes were swollen, sometimes like golf balls, and painful. And doctors telling me this is how it is and I will never get better. After three weeks of using Nulids, I finally look normal, and my eyes feel good. Really grateful.
