How to Use
For heat therapy: Place mask on a paper towel. Microwave for 20 seconds. Test mask temperature with fingertips. If the mask is too hot, allow to cool for 1 minute before testing with fingertips again. If the mask is not hot enough, microwave in 5 second increments until desired heat is achieved. Do NOT heat the mask for more than 30 seconds at a time. Apply mask to the eyes for up to 10 minutes or as directed by your doctor.
The compress is formulated to resist bacteria. It requires no special covers, will not dry out, dissolve, or develop odors. The eye compress is easy to clean. Just wipe with a wet cloth and a small amount of mild soap. Then let air dry. DO NOT SUBMERGE IN WATER.
Very good. Even heat, really soft cover. A little tricky to get the pack in and out of the cover, Velcro seam is very tight.
It definitely makes my eyelids feel less itchy and dry. Highly recommended.
I had a similar mask but found it hard to clean. I love that this has a removable and (hand) washable cover. Please consider offering a machine washable cover as an upgrade. I’d be much happier if I could throw in the washing machine since hand washing is time consuming. I use this every night before going to sleep. So relaxing and is helping!
I only used it twice and developed a rash and swelling around my eyes Could it be that I should have washed the outer covering prior to use? Could it be that it was too hot? Didn’t seem too hot. I’ve been doing either warm washcloth soaks or using a pad with micro peas for the past 2 years. I had a lesser rash once in the past 2 years prior to this using other heat methods.
Thought I would try this mask with a cover over it. I have two of the regular eye love masks which I love and use frequently but I find this new mask to be quite a bit heavier on my eyes. Need to be lying down when using it as it falls down sitting up even when tightened. Not my first choice BUT I will say that it stays warm for a longer time whereas the other mask needs to be rewarmed.
