Omega 3 Supplement
What is the best Omega-3 supplement if you can’t take fish oil?
I like to use Nordic Naturals. They make one out of algae that works pretty well. Nordic Naturals is a really a good brand if you just want to do a fish oil. We recommend ours if you want to do fish oil plus the vitamins that help battle dry eye, specifically. If you’re just going to add a adjunct fish oil, we recommend the Nordic Naturals algae based omega-3. Nordic Naturals is a pretty reputable brand. We used to sell Nordic Naturals before we came out with our own supplement. Dr. Jenna Zigler is actually taking it during pregnancy just because the Heyedrate Dry Eye Omega 3's has flaxseed oil in it, which isn’t recommended during pregnancy. There are always different reasons to try other brands, so I would give that one a try.
