Top 5 Facial Cleansers for Acne Rosacea - Dermalogica vs Rosacea Care vs Heyedrate

What is the Best Face Soap for Rosacea?

Meibomian gland dysfunction and associated dry eye syndrome affect 30 million Americans. Rosacea affects 16 million and regular acne affects 60 million! Due to this staggering amount of people that need help with acne rosacea and the eyelid disease often associated with it, a flood of new products have come to the market in recent years.  Specifically, tea tree oil has been shown to benefit both conditions and is a natural remedy I prefer to recommend. However, there are lots of options. Here, I put together the top five facial cleansers for rosacea.

Here are Dr. Jenna Zigler's Top 5 Face Soaps for Rosacea

1. Heyedrate Organic Tea Tree Oil Soap

Released in June 2017, Heyedrate Tea Tree Oil Soap Bar is the most effective, all-natural solution to acne, rosacea, and eyelid disease. Tea tree oil is a known bacteria killer, and this handmade soap bar contains only 5 ingredients: organic green tea, organic olive oil, organic coconut oil, raw shea butter, and tea tree essential oil.

It is alcohol free, contains no parabens or sulfates, and is preservative free. This soap bar is easy to use and contains no harsh chemicals, making it safe and effective for all skin types. This is my "go-to" product for patients in my clinic currently.  It is very gentle and I have had great success with this product.

Heyedrate Tea Tree Oil Soap's 5 Ingredients: Organic Green Tea, Organic Olive Oil, Organic Coconut Oil, Raw Shea Butter, and Tea Tree Essential Oil

Safe for all skin types. Avoid direct eye contact, as tea tree oil can irritate the eyes.

I have tried absolutely everything I could get my hands on. SPA treatments. Rosacea diets, several products amounting to many dollars. Eucerin redness relief cleanser works good. Number one thing that helped. A water purifying showerhead. The water in my city was causing all the dry, cracked and red skin.
