Inflammation is a BIG deal. Most disease is some form of inflammation, so battling inflammation is a key component to battling your dry eye and other eye diseases. An estimated 80% of visits to doctor’s offices are for issues relating to a chronic disease, which stems from chronic inflammation of the body. The CDC states that 7 out of every 10 Americans die of chronic disease!
Let’s look at the DEWS II (The Tear Film and Ocular Surface Society’s Dry Eye Workshop in 2017) definition of dry eye, in which it states that inflammation is one of the key reasons for dry eye:
“Dry eye is a multifactorial disease of the ocular surface characterized by a loss of homeostasis of the tear film, and accompanied by ocular symptoms, in which tear film instability and hyperosmolarity, ocular surface inflammationand damage, and neurosensory abnormalities play etiological roles,”
Meat is loaded with saturated fat, which contributes to the following chronic conditions:
As you can see, inflammation is a BIG deal. The better you're able to battle it, the better off your health will be (and this includes the health of your eyes!)

Roxy – under the video there is a blue button that says “Click here to download the educational handout” – that should take you to the print out.
How do I “click on the next video below” since what’s there is a link to your handout? Would love to hear what you have to share about what to eat, but there’s no video link given that I see.
Thanks for your help!
